This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through https://1stoptech.com.au and services provided by DTI Consulting Pty Ltd, trading as 1Stop Tech.
Shipping Locations
We ship Australia-wide.
Dispatch Timeframes
- In-stock items are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
- Dispatch times are estimates only and may vary due to stock availability, order volume, or unforeseen delays.
- Custom-built PCs have separate build and dispatch timeframes (see below).
Custom PC Builds
- Custom-built systems require assembly and testing prior to dispatch.
- Build times vary depending on component availability and system complexity.
- Estimated timeframes will be provided at the time of order or during consultation.
Delivery
- Delivery times vary depending on your location and carrier.
- Once dispatched, delivery is handled by third-party couriers and is outside our direct control.
- Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
No restocking fee applies to unopened items.
Opened or used items may not be eligible for return or may be refused.
Custom-built PCs and special-order items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please:
- Contact us as soon as possible at info@1stoptech.com.au
- Provide your order number and a description of the issue
- Include photos where applicable
We will assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty
- Hardware warranties are provided by the original manufacturer unless otherwise stated.
- For custom-built PCs, individual components are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
- Software, third-party services, and consumables are generally excluded unless required by law.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
- Returned items must be packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.
IT Services
Refunds for IT support services are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Services already delivered or partially completed may not be refundable unless required by law.
